About YogaPops

Yoga is an excellent way to escape the stress, gadgets and distractions that now surround our children. Yoga Pops Billericay classes are fun, engaging and encourage children to fully participate and enjoy moving their bodies in a non-stressful and non-competitive atmosphere. The sessions include movement, games, breath work and relaxation which are tailored depending on the specific age group and are suitable for ages 2 to 16 years.

Yoga Pops Billericay is run by Lou who completed “Calm for Kids” Yoga Teacher training courses, practical assessments and working modules during 2013. In 2014 Lou attended workshops and training courses to extend her knowledge to include teaching Teenagers.  This course, combined with her enthusiastic personality and her own regular yoga practise over the past 15 years has enabled Lou to start up these classes and pass on her knowledge to children. Lou is a Registered Yoga Teacher for Children with Yoga Alliance UK and is Insured to teach and holds DBS approval (formerly known as CRB)

Children’s Yoga is an ideal activity to help with breath awareness, balance, co-ordination and confidence 
My classes introduce children to Yoga in a fun way and include poses, stretching exercises and games to promote strength and flexibility 
At the end of every class there is also time for relaxation
